@8:56 PM
Lately been thinking of places for a quick getaway with my babes.
Think left, think right, think up, think down... Giving me a headache >.<
First it was Koh Samui.
Mentioned to Audrey bout it and we were discussing. The next day I msged HK David, coincidentally he and his friends were also planning to go there on the same weekend as us. Unfortunately, he told me all the tickets to Koh Samui are fully booked - departing both from HK and Singapore. *groans*
Second Taipei.
Audrey found few packages but in the end, the hype of going Taipei died down. Reason being it was too rush, too hot (for my liking) and too short a stay.
Third Hua Hin.
Remember Daphne wrote about her spa retreat down at Hua Hin, Thailand. Both of us was clueless about the location so I googled it. Read through the introduction. The part about it being the oldest and most traditional Thailand resort didn't exactly appeal to me that much.... *too much horror ghost movies for me...*
Forth Bintan.
Then I saw Daph's entry about their trip down to Angsana Bintan. Checked that out and realised it was only a 55 minutes ferry from Singapore. Which means that there wouldn't be any hefty cost of plane tickets!!!!! So excited me immediately went to check out that hotel on wotif. Results only gave 4-5 hotels, none of which is Angsana Bintan :( So I went to ask SG David about Bintan Lagoon Resort and he said it got quite good reviews. ^-^
Yesterday I received Dabby's email when I asked her bout her weekend trip to Koh Samui with her parents recently. She actually gave me another place which she thought would be quite a better alternative than Koh Samui - Krabi.
Well, as I've given more thoughts bout it, I decided it's best to go for Bintan first. No hefty plane ticket costs, somewhat affordable hotel charges and it's not tht far.
The problem right now is when will we be going for that trip?
hahahahahahahahaha
Supposedly was planning to go during National Day weekend. But for sure everywhere's gonna be packed. Might postpone it to the following weekend, or the next, or the next.... you get the drift.
And we need some "bodyguards" too. The idea of us girls going to Bintan alone doesn't exactly sound very very safe.
Destination: Bintan.
Departure and People: unconfirmed.
What a wonderful trip this is going to be.
hahahahahaha ;)
