An extremely close friend of mine...
once told me this when I was in one of my lowest point of my life,
"You have a great personality, great heart and it would take a smart person to appreciate that"
I guess it doesn't apply to most people as majorities of them tend to see what is standing infront of them, not who, and having something that is in a "package deal"
(eg, a guy whos tall, handsome, rich, successful, pampers you like theres no tomorrow, etc).
Doesn't the statement "If you like someone, you'll accept the person for who they are and not what they are" give any meanings to anyone anymore?
Everyone demands so much out of everything nowadays that they tend not to look carefully at what is actually surrounding them anymore. Only to realise that they have lost something which is very precious, special and close to them at the very last minute.
Having a wide selection of choices has its own benefits. At the very same time, it confuses you and led you astray as to what you really want and aims to look for at the very beginning.
Then again, that's life isn't it? Making choices that you regret in the end, only able to look back later and kick yourself in the arse for it.
