Lime Sonic Bang







went to cineleisure with my younger cousin Karen yesterday to check out the Lime Sonic Bang.

had dinner at the Chicago Steakhouse before heading over to the open field opposite Youth Park for the event itself. during dinner, she kinda surprised me by with the VIP and backstage passes she gotten from her friends. lol. cute.





Daniel Ong and Kelly was hosting it and Daniel is one heck of a charming funny guy. Totally loved the way he entertained the crowds with his sense of humor and cold jokes.

Him: okok tell you guys a quick 2 short jokes and 1 long one.
Him: cokcok coooook

he was shoshing the crowd by going 'sshh' to introduce Seranaide but there was this crazy punk who suddenly screamed. daniel shouted "SIAO AH!!!" and stormed up front like an old ahbeng to that punk. hahahhahaha*

anyway, it was quite nice that night. except that the weather was hot and humid.

halfway through the show, it suddenly reminded me of several LIME events i went on when i was in KL. hahahahah man that was eons ago!! when i was around Karen's age. i wld join my indonesian babes to check out those LIME events featuring Gil and the Westlife. even took pics of them but couldn't remember where i've stashed those at.

i think only when someone mentioned that this is his first time performing to such a young crowd LEGALLY that i realised how young those crowds actually were!! felt like such an auntie with all those youngsters jumping and screaming and snapping their cameras at those superstars on stage.

oh well, least it brought me down memory lane recollecting those silly gigs i been 5 years ago.
